MAR MATHEW
MAKIL: The former bishop of Changanacherry who was the driving force
behind the establishment of the Vicariate Apostolic of Kottayam and he
became its first bishop.

About Knanayology
Knanayology means study on Knanaya Community. This is developed by Knanaya Foundation Inc. registed on October 2, 2019 in Illinos State in the United States of America. This website is meant to provide all types of resources available all over the world on Knanaya Community under one website to help research, studies and education on Knanaya Community. Availability of Knanaya Resources online is a concept developed by a team consisting of Fr. Abraham Mutholath, Dr. Stephen Pottoore, Jaimon Nanthikattu and Bijo Karakkattu with the approval of His Grace Mar Mathew Moolakkatt, Archbishop of Kottayam and with the blessings of Mar Joseph Pandarasseril, the auxiliary bishop of Kottayam. The resource team from India are Rev. Dr. Mathew Kochadampallil, Rev. Dr. George Karukaparambil MSP, and Rev. Fr. Byju Mukalel MSP. We work in collaboration with KART (Knanaya Academy for Research and Training) and JET (Dr. Jacob Kollaparambil Educational Trust). The website development was started on July 20, 2019.
