O Lord, who clothed the holy Church, Your bride, in the mantle of glory, make this couple worthy to put on the robe of glory in heaven after a life of sanctity on earth (sprinkles holy water on the Manthrakodi).

WASHING OF THE HANDS

CEL: May God the Lord of all, wash away the stains of our debts and sins in the ocean of His mercy.

CEL: We believe in One God, the Father Almighty,

ALL: Creator of all things, visible and invisible. We believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, the First-born of all creatures, born of the Father before all ages, and not made, true God from true God, consubstantial with the Father.
Through Him the worlds were formed, and all things were created. For the sake of us men and for our salvation. He came down from Heaven and was incarnate by the Holy Spirit.
He was conceived and born of the Virgin Mary and became man. He suffered and was crucified in the days of Pontius Pilate. He died and was buried and on the third day He rose again as it is written.
He ascended into Heaven and sits at the right hand of His Father. He will come again to judge the dead and the living.
We believe in the one Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth and the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father – and the Son.

Let us remember all the rulers who love Christ and are faithful to Him and all those who have departed from this world in true faith. I celebrate these Mysteries for the remission of debts, the forgiveness of sins, and for the salvation of the souls of the people, Your flock, and for the reconciliation of the whole world, and for peace and tranquility of all the Churches.

O Lord and God, Jesus Christ, regard not the multitude of our sins, and be not angery at the abundance of our evil. Sanctify this sacrifice in Your ineffable grace so that we may find mercy and grace in Your presence. Sanctify this sacrifice so that we may be made worthy to sing Your praises with the heavenly hosts, when You appear at the end of time in the humanity that You assumed. Grant it the power to wipe away our sins.

Cleanse us who are unclean and sanctify our lips. Lord, join the hymns of these lowly beings with the praises of the Seraphim and the Archangels. CEL: Lord our God, we commemorate the passion of Your beloved Son, as He has taught us. On the night He was handed over, Jesus took bread (takes the paten) in His pure and holy hands. He lifted up His eyes to Heaven (raises his eyes) to You, the adorable Father, blessed (+) broke, and gave it to His disciples, saying: “This is My Body which is broken for You for the forgiveness of sins. Take this all of you and eat it.”

CEL: O Lord, You have granted us such a great blessing for which we can never thank You enough. These glorious, holy, life-giving and divine Mysteries have been set apart, sanctified, perfected, commingled, and united in the adorable and magnificent Name of the most glorious Trinity, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
O Lord our God, through these holy Mysteries, may the holy Church here and everywhere and all of us, receive the remission of debts, forgiveness of sins, hope of Resurrection, and new life in the Kingdom of Heaven. Now, always, and forever.

(The celebrant places the two halves of the Sacred Host on the paten, one upon the other as a cross so as the broken side of the Sacred Host below faces the chalice and the other above, faces the celebrant. Then he bows and with his right thumb makes the sign of the cross on his forehead. Then he unfolds the veil, which is wrapped around the sacred mysteries and says:)
