ALL: In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen

THE ANGELUS

The Angel of the Lord declared to Mary.
And she conceived of the Holy Spirit.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Behold the handmaid of the Lord: Be it done unto me according to your word.
Hail Mary . . .

And the Word was made Flesh: And dwelt among us.
Hail Mary . . .

Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Let us pray: Pour forth, we beseech you, O Lord, your grace into our hearts that we, to whom the incarnation of Christ, your Son, was made known by the message of an angel, may be brought by His Passion and Cross to the glory of His Resurrection, through the same Christ Our Lord. Amen.

LEADER: Glory to God in the highest.

LEADER: Peace and hope to people on earth, always and forever.

ALL: Amen.

LEADER: Our Father in heaven

ALL: Hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth / as it is in heaven. Give us this day the bread we need / and forgive us our debts and sins / as we have forgiven those who offended us. Do not let us fall into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For, Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.

Our Father in heaven, heaven and earth are full of Your glory. Angels and people sing out Your Glory; Holy, holy, holy are You.

SER: Let us pray. Peace be with us.

LEADER: Lord, our God! We praise you and worship you and thank you for all the favors you have done for us. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Lord of all forever.

ALL: Amen.

PSLAM 1 (Recite the following in two batches).

Happy those who do not follow the counsel of the wicked,
Nor go the way of sinners,
Nor sit in company with scoffers.

Rather, the law of the LORD is their joy;
God’s law, they study day and night.

They are like a tree planted near streams of water,
That yields its fruit in season.

Its leaves never wither;
Whatever they do prospers.

But not the wicked!
They are like chaff driven by the wind.

Therefore the wicked will not survive judgment,

O LORD, our Lord,
How awesome is your name through all the earth!

When I see your heavens, the work of your fingers,
The moon and stars that you set in place.

What are humans that you are mindful of them,
Mere mortals that you care for them?

Yet you have made them little less than a god,
Crowned them with glory and honor.

You have given them rule over the works of your hands,

PSALM 23

The LORD is my shepherd; there is nothing I lack.
In green pastures you let me graze;

For the sake of your name.

Even when I walk through a dark valley,
I fear no harm for you are at my side;
Your rod and staff give me courage.

You set a table before me as my enemies watch;

Only goodness and love will pursue me
all the days of my life;
I will dwell in the house of the LORD for years to come.

PSALM 25

I wait for you, O LORD; I lift up my soul to my God.

In you I trust; do not let me be disgraced;
Do not let my enemies gloat over me.

No one is disgraced who waits for you,
But only those who lightly break faith.

Make known to me your ways, LORD;
teach me your paths.

Guide me in your truth and teach me,
For you are God my savior.

Look upon me, have pity on me,
For I am alone and afflicted.

LEADER: Lord our God, mercifully hear these prayers of us sinners, and accept it as our evening prayer. We offer you our soul and body. Bless us by forgiving our sins. Lead us ever through everlasting light. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Lord of all forever.

Prayer for the Deceased

The Apostle’s Creed
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended to the dead. On the third day, He rose again. He ascended to Heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

On the large bead before each decade:
Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity, of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

On the ten small beads of each decade, say:
For the sake of His sorrowful Passion,
Have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Conclude with:
Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world. (Say 3 Times).
