Mention of Knanaya Migration of 400 Christians from Nineve and Jerusalem in 345 under the leadership of Thomas Cana. Among them was a bishop from Edessa named Joseph and several priests and deacons. The ruler of Cranganore conferred privileges upon Thomas Cana and his people.
