the directives of the Superior General and the General Council.
She is bound to keep secrecy regarding official matters.
Administration : Regional Level
192 A unit having five formed houses and 30 finally professed
members may be made a Region. When circumstances
require, the Superior General has the power to erect a Region
with the approval of the Archeparch and the deliberative
consent of her Council. The Regional Superior has only
delegated powers. She is directly under the authority of the
Superior General. The Generalate should help the Region
by giving the needed personnel and economic assistance.
Regional Superior
193 The Regional Superior is appointed by the Superior General
with the consent of her Council. She has the responsibility
to strive for the all-round progress of the Region, in
submission to the Superior General and cooperation with
the General Council.
A Regional Superior is to have all the qualities proper to a
Major Superior. Her term of office is three years. She may
be re-elected for a second term. She must have completed
10 years after her first profession and 35 years of age.
In pressing circumstances, the Superior General with the
consent of her council, can remove the Regional Superior
from her office.
Regional Council
194 The Regional Council comprises the Regional Superior and
her two Councillors. They are appointed by the Superior
General with the consent of her Council. Of these one is
appointed as the Assistant Regional Superior. The Regional
Council decides the duties and departments of the
Councillors. The Regional Council appoints a Finance
