apostolate. The further details of our religious dress may be
specified in the Directory.
Cloister
73 Each house should have definite area of cloister meant for
the exclusive use of our sisters, conducive to religious
solitude, prayer and study. In particular circumstances and
for legitimate reasons the local superior may give
dispensation from the rule of the cloister. 28
Daily Time-Table
74 The local synaxis may prepare a daily time-table, taking into
account our exercises of prayer, the diversity of the apostolic
activities of the house concerned, the physical and mental
rest of the sisters etc. The time-table has to be followed
29
with the approval of the Superior General. It has to be so
made that the sisters get enough opportunity to participate,
as a community, in the common liturgical celebrations,
prayers, meals and recreation.
Transfer
75 The Superior General gives transfers to sisters, in view of
the good of the community and individuals. Sisters should
accept, with good will, spirit of charity and in view of
common good, the decision taken by the Superiors regarding
matters concerning job, place etc.
Social Relationship
76 In pursuance of the good tradition of our community, we the
daughters of St. Joseph, should receive guests with
hospitality so as to make them feel at home in our houses.
30
We have to be particularly careful to deal with the poor
approaching us with generosity and compassion. Sisters
31
are to travel only on just reasons and with permission.
