administration of the Community. None of the provisions in them
shall we look at or consider as of little importance. It would be on
the consideration of the fidelity and love we demonstrated in
observing them that Jesus, our Lord and Saviour, would have to
tell each one of us on our death-bed: ìwell done, good and faithful
servant, you have been faithful over a little, I will get you over
much, enter into the joy of your Masterî (Mt. 25:23).
On behalf of the entire SJC Community I offer my cordial
thanks to Mar Mathew Moolakkatt, the Archeparch of the Diocese
of Kottayam, who did officially approve these Constitutions and
had enlightened us through his thoughtful suggestions and paternal
directives during the formation of it. The timely religious
exhortations and experience-based practical directives given us
by the Archbishop Emeritus Mar Kuriakose Kunnacherry, the
spiritual guide and Higher Authority of the SJC Community for
over the last four decades, were, indeed, very illuminative and
helpful for us during each period of the formation of these
Constitutions. The SJC Community gratefully remembers His
Grace Mar Kuriakose Kunnacherry. We are largely indebted to
Rev. Fr. Cyriac Kanichai CMI for the theological and religious
depth as well as the literary beauty of these Constitutions. The
prayerful and cordial thanks of the SJC are due to Rev. Fr.Cyriac
Kanichai for his great and generous good will.
May the Eucharistic heart of Jesus, the fullness of Godís
glory (Jn.17:4) and the spring of His mercy (Mk. 8:2-3; Mt. 9:13)
lead the SJC and its members for evermore in the path of the yoga
of Divine Glory and dasyam of His Mercy! May the Blessed Virgin
Mary, who lived incessantly praising the Lord through the canticle
of her soul (Lk.1:46) and proclaiming in words, thoughts and deeds
the mercy of God who filled the poor with good things (Lk 1:53),
be our Mother and Mistress on our path of the yoga of Divine
                                          15
