Glory and dasyam of His Mercy! May St. Joseph, our heavenly
patron and model, who lived in continual praise of God by doing
only Godís will in everything and in the service of His mercy by
compassionately protecting the holy family in all its afflictions
and hardships, be SJCís strength and light on its path of religious
and apostolic life! Let us pray that God may grant our revered
Founding Father Poothathil Thommiachan, our First Mothers, nay,
the entire SJC Community in heaven, the grace of being able to
rejoice unto the end of the world over seeing us here on earth
enjoy religious fulfillment and spiritual delight in the SJC out of
our living the life of the yoga of Divine Glory and dasyam of Godís
Mercy. Let us whole-heartedly strive for the realization of that
goal by living in the SJC Garden of Religion in love and service
so as to make our motto meaningful to its core. Let us faithfully
observe these Constitutions with the same spirit and zeal of St.
Thomas, the Co-patron and Apostle of India, who lived exhibiting
his readiness to sacrifice his life for Jesus and consecrating himself
to the Risen Lord, on whose feast-day, namely, on July 3rd, the
80th anniversary of the Foundation Day of the SJC, these
Constitutions come into force.
With love
Sr. Annie John SJC
