for the orphaned and abandoned so as to let Godís redeeming
love of mercy flow into them. In this way, the SJC sisters,
through their vow of obedience, realize and operationalize
the religious vision of their Founding Father that they should

the effusion of His merciful love on others.
Obedience to Superiors

who, through his obedience to the point of death, even death
on a cross, secured Godís glory and redemption of
humankind. It is through the superiors, who represent Christ,

Therefore, our vow of obedience binds us to listen to them
in faith and obey the directions and orders given us by them
in accord with our Constitutions.

hands of God and His people. Our obedience in the Church
and the community perfects our personality and enhances
our freedom by unifying us with God and humankind. Our

the will of God. Through his obedience he fully participated
