ß3 Such spirit of generosity and detachment as to hand over
all we earn, without making any claim over them or seeking
any privileges for ourselves, to the community so that as per
the decision of the community they may be moved to the
people of God, more especially to the poor. 29
ß4 We have to be honest and just in carrying out the jobs

entrusted to us with sincerity and in dealing with the
resources with responsibility, always being mindful of our
obligation to God, to the community and to the poor.
35 ß1 By virtue of the vow of poverty we renounce our right to
acquire money or things of monetary value, to use or dispose
them, without the permission of the superiors.
ß2 Whatever a professed sister earns as her own or in the
name of the community or whatever she obtains as salary
for her work, pension, gratuity etc. or in whatever other
manner, belongs to the religious community. Unless
otherwise proved legally, whatever a member acquires are
for the community. 31
ß3 The right to accept the properties, insurance, gratuity,
provident fund, deposit, royalty etc. of a professed member,
except what she obtains as her own family inheritance, after
the death of a professed member belongs to the Superior
General/ her representative.
ß4 The novice, before pronouncing her first vows, is to cede
the administration, use and usufructs of her present and future
patrimonial goods to whomsoever she wishes, as long as
she remains bound by her vows . For making any changes

in the conditions put therein the permission of the Superior
General is required. Changes thus made, however, should
not be such as are in favour of the congregation at least not
in respect to a notable part of the goods. 33
