115 Patrimony is received from the candidate in accordance with
the directives of the General Synaxis. For no reason may a
novice renounce validly her right over family properties. 30
116 Three months before the end of the second year novitiate,
the novice freely submits to the Superior General her request
in writing, through the Mistress, to be admitted to the first
profession.
Vestition and Temporary Profession of Vows
117 At the completion of the Novitiate, the Superior General with
the consent of her Council admits the suitable candidates
for the first profession. Those not found fit are dismissed
with the consent of her Council. If a doubt remains regarding
the aptness of a candidate, her novitiate may be extended
for a period not exceeding one year. 31
In order that a temporary Profession may be valid:
118 i. The candidate should have completed her one year novitiate
continuously;
ii. The person should have completed 19 years of age;
iii. Permission has been given by the Superior General in
writing, with the consent of her Council; the profession is
received by her Superior General personally or through her
delegate;
iv. The profession is made or received without force, fear or
deceit. 32
